Certificate of Incumbency
You will need a Certificate of Incumbency Apostilled if you want to certify certain employees (officers) of the United States company, to have the proper endorsement to conduct business for the company in a foreign country. Therefore, a Certificate of Incumbency is a corporate document, issued by the company's president or secretary, that certifies specific individuals as officers of the company. This document:
- Lists the officers names
- Lists the officers titles
- Provides a place for each officer to sign
- May also list the Directors and Shareholders of the company
Before we can process a Certificate of Incumbency, EACH SIGNATURE must be signed and notarized. If the signers are in different states, please contact us for helpful instructions to ensure your document is Apostilled correctly. A Certificate of Incumbency can only be Apostilled in the State the document was signed and notarized in.
Certificates of Incumbency can be Apostilled once you mail them to us.
Once the original English Certificate of Incumbency is properly prepared you can mail it to us to be Apostilled. We can also provide Certified Translation Services into the language required by the Country of Designation.
