IRS Form W-2
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires employers to complete an IRS Form W-2 for each employee to whom they paid a salary, wage, or any other compensation during the tax year as part of the employment relationship. Each IRS Form W-2 reports the employees income as well as the amount of federal, state and other taxes withheld from each employee's paycheck throughout the tax year. As an employee, the information on your personal IRS Form W-2 is extremely important when preparing your income tax return.
In order for us to process your IRS Form-W-2, you must have the document signed and notarized. You can either meet with your local Notary Public and have your signature notarized or you can ask your accountant to have his/her signature notarized. It is always best to verify with the country requesting the Apostille as to whose signature they prefer be notarized.
Please Note - each IRS Form W-2 must be notarized separately. Therefore, if you have multiple IRS Form W-2s from different employers, you will have to have each IRS Form W-2 notarized and Apostilled separately.
Once we receive your notarized documents, in order to minimize errors and processing time, we will verify that all documents received from notaries before submitting them to be Apostilled. We will contact you as soon as possible if any errors are encountered and we will instruct you on how they need to be corrected.
Obtaining an Apostille can be a complicated process and should not be left to someone who does not understand all of the steps involved. Once the notarized English IRS Form W-2s are retrieved you can mail them letter to us to be Apostilled. We can also provide Certified Translation Services into the language required by the Country of Designation.
