Guatemala is NOT a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. Therefore any official documents destined for this country require Legalization from the Secretary of State,* the U.S. Department of State and the Guatemala Embassy. Please Note - we can only assist with documents that originate from the United States. Therefore, if your documents orginated from Guatemala, You will need to contact the correct Compentant Authority to assist you in Guatemala.
* Some states Apostilles' are issued by the Lieutenant Governor or Secretary of the Commonwealth instead of the Secretary of State.
