Uganda is NOT a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.
Therefore any official documents destined for this country require
Legalization from the Secretary of State,* the U.S. Department of State and the Uganda Embassy.
Please Note - we can only assist with documents that originate from the United States.
Therefore, if your documents orginated from Uganda,
You will need to contact the correct Compentant Authority to assist you in Uganda.
* Some states Apostilles' are issued by the Lieutenant Governor or Secretary of the Commonwealth instead of the Secretary of State.

** Due to Covid-19 expect delays to all government response times. In addition, during the Summer Season (June through Septermber) and Christmas Season (November through January) there can be delays in processing your documents. We recommend that you do not book appointments or make any reservations until your documents are completed and back to your return address.
