Translating Documents After Apostilles
In most cases, documents must be Apostilled and attached to your document(s) by the correct government office before they can be translated.
Please Note - All Certificates / Apostilles attached by government officials will also be translated.

Translating Documents Before Apostilles*
In some cases, documents must be translated before a government office will grant the apostille.
Please Note - The following government agencies will not apostilled documents that are not in English: All federal agencies (i.e. USDOS, USDOJ) Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.
* The following States required Certified Translations to be Notarized -- Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, North Carolina, abd South Carolina.
Please Note - Our translators are not international lawyers or representatives of other countries. They do not know the laws of other countries or the specific requirements of the Embassy or Consulate Offices.
The translator's ONLY responsibility is to translate your documents into the language you choose on the Certified Translation Request Form. The translation will not be printed on special paper.
Difficult to read documents cannot be translated. So be sure and print clearly on the Certified Translation Request Form you submit to us.
The certifed cover letter you receive of the translation will be in English.

Notarized documents will be Notarized and shipped to our California office, generally within 2-3 business days.
* The following States require English Translations for Documents written in a foregn ;language: Alabame, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma (destined to Non-Hague Countries), and Sourth Carolina. The following States require those English Translations to be Notarized: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
** Due to Covid-19 expect delays to all government response times. In addition, during the Summer Season (June through Septermber) and Christmas Season (November through January) there can be delays in processing your documents. We recommend that you do not book appointments or make any reservations until your documents are completed and back to your return address.
